MEMBER FORCES
FIEP brings together gendarmeries and police forces with military status from different regions of the world. Although each institution operates under its own national legal framework, all member forces share a common institutional model: military status, discipline and organization combined with police, public security and law enforcement responsibilities.
The Member Forces of FIEP represent a diverse international network committed to cooperation, the exchange of experience, professional development and the strengthening of common responses to contemporary security challenges.
Through this network, FIEP promotes dialogue and practical cooperation among forces that face similar operational, institutional and strategic realities.
Permanent Member Forces
The Permanent Member Forces of FIEP are gendarmeries and police forces with military status that actively participate in the Association’s work, technical commissions and annual activities.
They represent the core of FIEP’s international cooperation network and contribute to the exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices in the fields of security, service organization, training, technology, logistics and international affairs.
Observer Forces
Observer Forces participate in FIEP as part of a progressive integration process. This status allows them to take part in the Association’s activities, strengthen institutional ties and contribute to the exchange of experience before full membership.
Their participation reflects FIEP’s continued expansion as a global network of gendarmeries and police forces with military status.
