Meeting of the Senior Council of Directors/Commanding Generals

From 24^th to 27^st September 2014, 12 FIEP Member high delegations gathered in Vicenza (Italy) for the annual Meeting of the Senior Council of Directors/Commanding Generals, in the year of the 20^th Anniversary of the FIEP foundation and of the bicentennial of the Italian Carabinieri and the Dutch Royal Marechaussee.

On 26^th September the Common Declaration was signed under the Italian Presidency held by Lieutenant General Leonardo GALLITELLI, General Commander of the Italian Carabinieri, inside the evocative “Villa Cordellina Lombardi”.

Thus, the handing over of the Presidency took place by delivering the symbolic “hammer” to General d’Armée Denis FAVIER, General Director of the French Gendarmerie Nationale, who, in turn, announced the new theme for the 2015 “The challenges of digital transformation”.
